You will be based in Arnhem and will work on a number of high-profile projects throughout the Netherlands. And, if you have the ambition, also in Europe.

“It must and can be done differently and more sustainably in the construction industry.” Can you identify with this statement? And would you like to immerse yourself in future-oriented and innovative solutions? As Junior Consultant Sustainable Building at the Adamasgroup, you can do this.

Breaking through the standard patterns of thinking about building and development; that is what you will do. Nothing is set in stone. You sit around the table with clients such as developers, contractors and architects, and with suppliers of building materials, and you ask them critical questions. Of course, you explain why you ask these questions and you show convincingly how things can be done more sustainably. You knock existing conventions and assess existing ideas critically. Is this always done without a struggle? Certainly not. Fortunately, you are not scared off by backlash. You do thorough research so you know what you are talking about and you offer clear alternatives. You back up these alternatives with scientific research, test them on site, take measurements and map out the impact of certain choices. You puzzle and search until you find the right solution. Together with your colleagues, you work towards a future-oriented construction industry.

Who are you

As Junior Consultant Sustainable Building, you have a passion for sustainability. You like to contribute to a bright future for people and the environment. Doing this together with your colleagues is a must for you. You have good communication skills and you thrive in a team, but you can just as easily work on projects independently. Thanks to an open mindset and inquisitive attitude, you learn something new every day. You have creative ideas for promoting sustainability and making it measurable. You are always looking for the most practical solutions. Naturally, you are stress resistant and accurate.

You start as a junior, but that is certainly not your end point. You are the right hand of the (senior) project manager and together you realise the sustainability ambitions of our clients. With us, there are plenty of career opportunities. In time you can grow into the role of (senior) project manager. In addition, you can also specialise in a particular field of knowledge. Think of circular economy, energy calculations or living environments. It is up to you! One thing is certain; your job at the Adamasgroup is not an ordinary job. Here you really make a difference. Your work environment

There is no spare planet, and yet we are on the verge of damaging it irreversibly. So, it’s time for action. And in that action, Adamasgroup leads the way. As an engineering and consultancy firm, we focus on the optimal integration of sustainability in construction. And we go far in this. From the building materials used, to the air ventilation system applied, to the provision of measures for local nature values.

What you have

• A college or university degree in a relevant subject, such as mechanical engineering, installation technique, construction or building physics;
• Experience with or a strong interest in the application of BREEAM-NL and the GPR, WELL and LEED certifications and the willingness to learn these certifications quickly through internal and external training opportunities.
• Knowledge of the language English and German in speech and writing is an advantage.

What we offer

• You start with a salary of approximately € 2.700,- gross per month, with a 40 hours working week (your exact salary depends on your knowledge and experience).
• A bonus scheme for achieving company and personal targets.

• If both parties are happy with our cooperation, you will receive a permanent contract and a company car after one year.
